Cancel a rail trip (for Europe and the UK)

You can cancel an existing rail booking.

To cancel a rail booking/trip

  1. Click Trips on the main menu. The Trips page will be displayed.
  2. Click the My trips tab.
  3. Select Upcoming from the menu (if not already selected).
  4. Locate the trip that contains the rail booking you wish to cancel and click View trip details. The trip details page will be displayed showing the rail bookings included in this trip.
  5. Locate the rail booking you wish to cancel (you may need to expand the booking menu) and click Cancel (in red).
  6. Select all refundable tickets (using the checkbox).
  7. Click Continue. The Checkout page will be displayed.
  8. Review your cancellation summary and click Confirm cancellation. Your rail booking will be cancelled.

Once completed, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email from both Spotnana and the rail network with which you booked the rail trip. Provided the ticket you purchased was refundable, and subject to any potential cancellation fees, you will receive the refundable amount back to the original form of payment (it may take a few days). In some cases, the rail network may instead send refund vouchers.
