Redeem an unused flight credit

Unused flight credits are visible when booking air travel, and travelers can automatically redeem credits during the booking process.

You will see unused ticket credits for specific airlines, flights, and fares in flight search results when an exchange is possible.

Credits are automatically applied at checkout. You have the option to not apply credits available to you by clicking the Remove button on the checkout page. In addition, if more than one credit is available, you have the ability to choose the credit you prefer to use by clicking the Apply button.

Where can I see my unused credits?

Unused credits appear in multiple places:

  1. Credits are visible on the Homepage below the search box.
  2. Credits are visible at the top of search results if a search includes flights and fares where a credit can be redeemed. In addition, the words "Flight credits available" appear on specific flights and fares that allow the redemption of an unused credit. Once a fare is selected, credits also appear on the final checkout page.
  3. Credits can also be found within the Payment section of your Profile under Unused Credits.

Are unused tickets automatically updated when I cancel a flight?

Unused credits will appear in your profile within 2 days of your flight being cancelled. If a Spotnana agent is helping process your credits, you will receive a notification.

Why am I not able to redeem a credit for all flights for an airline?

Credits can be redeemed for specific flights according to fare rules and depending on how the fare was sourced. with few exceptions, fares sourced through EDIFACT and NDC can only be redeemed for other flights available through those distribution channels.
