December 2025 - Release Notes

Here are the most recent enhancements to Spotnana’s Travel-as-a-Service Platform. The features are grouped by functional category (Content, Self-service, etc.).

Traveler Experience

Ability to add visa information to profile

Travelers can now add, save, edit, and delete visa information to their user profile in Spotnana for any visas in their passport.

This information is for reference only. Carriers and airlines will still generally request visa details directly from the traveler during the check-in process.

For more details, see Edit my profile.

Travel Management

Enhanced approval dashboard

We have improved our approval dashboard in the Trips page by presenting it as a table that is more focused on passenger name records (PNRs) and individual booking approvals. Now each booking (air, hotel, rail, and car) is represented by its own row, providing a more granular level of control over the approval process.

Key features include:

  • Table view: View booking information in an easy-to-read table with configurable columns such as Time left, Start date, Type, Booking details, Trip name, Traveler, Policy status, and Cost.
  • Column customization: Customize your table view with optional columns like End date, Trip ID, and Approval type.
  • Dedicated side panel for taking action on approvals: Approve or deny bookings directly from the main view by clicking any row. This will display detailed booking information and buttons to approve or deny the booking.
  • Advanced filtering: Filter bookings by booking state (Pending and History), as well as by other attributes (Traveler, Start date, Booking type, and Policy status).
  • Booking type identifiers: Each booking type (air, hotel, rail, and car) has its own easy to recognize icon.
  • Individual and Company approvals: Individual approvers can view all approvals assigned to them, while company admins can view all approvals across the entire organization.

TMC administrators can view and manage approvals for their customers by selecting the relevant organization from the menu at the top of the page.

For more details, see Approval Dashboard.

Payments

Edit incomplete credit card details at checkout

Travelers can now view and update incomplete credit card information directly on the Checkout page during the booking process. Previously, credit cards marked as incomplete (typically those synced from external profile systems or added via API integrations) were only accessible and editable within the traveler’s profile. With this enhancement, travelers can simply provide the missing details at checkout and then use the updated card immediately for their current booking.

This functionality is automatically enabled for all credit cards in the system that have incomplete information, such as missing CVV numbers, travel booking type, or address details. Once missing info is provided for the card during checkout, the card is attached to the user's profile and becomes available for use in subsequent transactions.

TMC Management

Cabin class policy configuration

TMC administrators can now configure cabin class policy rules at the organization level, enabling greater flexibility and customization across different client preferences.

Key features:

  • Organization-level configuration: Cabin class policy rules for both domestic and international flights can be customized per client organization.
  • Miles or duration toggle: Administrators can choose to define "Highest cabin class - Domestic flights" and "Highest cabin class - International flights" policy rules based on either miles (distance) or duration (flight time) for each organization.
  • TMC flexibility: TMC administrators can now accommodate organizations with varying cabin class policy requirements. This allows them to align with each client's preferred travel policy framework.
