October 2026 - Release Notes
Here are the most recent enhancements to Spotnana’s Travel-as-a-Service Platform. The features are grouped by functional category (Content, Self-service, etc.).
Content
Hotels: Marriott direct integration
Spotnana now connects directly to Marriott's Central Reservation System (CRS). Travelers get the exact same real-time rates, availability, and fee details as Marriott.com across nearly 10,000 properties. In addition, Marriott Bonvoy benefits and loyalty details are seamlessly integrated directly within Spotnana.
Key benefits include:
- Structured hotel and room content: Travelers see Marriott's official imagery, room names and descriptions, which all match what is shown on Marriott.com. They also see structured property- and room-level details, including bedding, occupancy, room size, and amenities.
- Broader and more transparent rate access: Travelers can shop standard, advance purchase, bundled, and eligible corporate negotiated rates. Marriott Direct rates are identified by the Marriott logo. Taxes and mandatory fees, including destination fees, are itemized upfront with Marriott's explanation of what each fee covers.
- Two-way sync and self-service: Changes made on Marriott.com, in the Marriott Bonvoy app or with Marriott customer service sync back to Spotnana automatically, including room upgrades. Trip records stay accurate, so travel managers can see actual spend and know where travelers are for duty of care. Travelers can modify or cancel eligible bookings via self-service, and agents can service bookings via the Agent Desktop.
- Integrated Marriott Bonvoy experience: Spotnana is the first corporate booking platform to offer verified Bonvoy account linking. Travelers can view their status, points balance and co-branded card, receive status recognition, and book Bonvoy member rates. Travelers without an account can enroll in Bonvoy directly from Spotnana.
- Simplified corporate rate setup: Corporate negotiated rates map to a single Marriott code at the company level.
To enable this feature, please contact your Spotnana Account Manager.

Traveler Experience
Flights: Updated flight exchange search results
Spotnana has updated the flight exchange search experience to align with the primary flights search experience, making it easier to navigate and compare options. Existing exchange filters are carried over to the updated interface.
Key enhancements include:
- Clean, consistent presentation: The exchange results page uses the same layout as the primary flights search experience for easier, more intuitive navigation.
- Easier fare comparison: Options priced below the original booking are highlighted in green, while plus and minus indicators show the fare difference.
- Non-refundable fare safeguards: When switching from a refundable to a non-refundable flight, a confirmation appears once during the exchange flow. A warning banner also appears across all legs when the new flight is non-refundable.
Note: The flight number filter is not available in exchange search. The non-refundable banner is not shown for Southwest bookings.
To learn more, see Modify a flight booking.
Hotels: Redesigned rate cards and ranking
We’ve redesigned rate cards on the hotel details page to make comparing options faster and clearer for travelers. The updated layout surfaces key rate information directly on the card and prioritizes in-policy options to help travelers more easily understand and compare available rates.
Key updates include:
- Clearer rate details: Each rate shows its name, refundability, breakfast inclusion, and loyalty earning eligibility at a glance. Expanding a rate card adds additional details like payment terms, rate source, and inclusions.
- Smart ranking: In-policy rates appear first, prioritizing negotiated rates, followed by out-of-policy and blocked rates. The Show out-of-policy filter has been removed since the new ranking automatically prioritizes compliant options.
- Streamlined comparison: The best-ranked rate in each room will be expanded and open by default. Each room shows up to two more in-policy rates as compact rows, and the rest sit behind a single "N more rates" link to reduce scrolling.
- Consistent layout: Rate cards use a consistent format across content sources, while additional supplier text remains available in More details to assist agents.

UK Rail: Seat selection during booking
Travelers booking eligible UK rail journeys with LNER, Avanti West Coast, Great Western Railway (GWR), or Lumo can now view a seat map and select an available seat during booking. Seat selection is displayed when supported by the operator and route.
To learn more, see Book a rail trip.
Embedded experience: Faster loading with token-exchange authentication
Travelers accessing Spotnana through an embedded experience that uses token-exchange authentication will now benefit from faster initial load times. The loading indicator remains visible until login is complete, and the page no longer reloads after authentication, eliminating duplicate loading.
Note: This enhancement only applies to embedded deployments that use token-exchange authentication.
Travel Management
Flights: Restrict lowest logical fare to the selected flight
Travel managers can now configure lowest logical fare (LLF) rules to only use the traveler's selected flight when calculating an LLF value. When Same flight only is enabled, Spotnana identifies the lowest bookable fare in the highest permitted cabin on that flight without comparing fares across other departures. The setting disables the LLF parameters that are dependent on multi-flight evaluation, such as booking window, and can be configured independently for domestic and international travel.
This enhancement gives travelers greater flexibility to select flights that fit their schedules while maintaining fare discipline on their chosen departure. It is particularly useful for time-sensitive, meeting-driven itineraries and can help reduce policy exceptions and manager escalations.
To learn more, see Configure your lowest logical fare settings.
Payments
Flights: Support for major lodge cards
Companies can now add all major lodge cards as payment methods within the Airline program section on the Supplier programs page in Spotnana. Each lodge card can be configured for specific airlines, helping ensure it is available only for airlines that accept it.
To learn more, see Create and configure lodge cards.
Integrations
Carbon emissions: Organization-specific Thrust Carbon methodologies
Organizations using Thrust Carbon can now see emissions figures based on their specific Thrust Carbon configuration. The configured methodology is applied automatically to emissions displayed in search results and used when sorting by emissions, ensuring travelers see data consistent with their organization’s reporting standard.
Note: Carbon emissions methodologies are configured directly with Thrust Carbon and cannot be managed in the Spotnana platform.
To learn more, see Carbon emission (CO2) calculations.
Everbridge duty of care
Everbridge is now integrated with the Spotnana platform via APIs. For customers using Everbridge for duty of care, traveler and itinerary data from eligible bookings can be shared automatically with Everbridge, enabling them to provide services such as traveler tracking, risk alerts, and emergency assistance.
To enable this integration, please contact your Spotnana Account Manager. Customer approval is required before data sharing can begin.
TMC Management
TMC settings: GDS and NDC queue management enhancements
TMC administrators can now configure automated cleanup and task routing for GDS and NDC queues, reducing the need for agents to manually clear queues and helping to prevent outdated PNRs from generating unnecessary tasks.
Key capabilities include:
- Automated cleanup and task routing: Configure individual queues to automatically clear PNRs or create an agent task on the dashboard across all Pseudo City Codes (PCCs) for a supplier.
- PCC-level overrides: Override default supplier configurations for individual PCCs to support specific queue management workflows.
- Automatic backlog cleanup: When a queue is enabled, past-dated PNRs with completed travel are cleared before the queue begins ingesting new PNRs.
- Streamlined configuration: A new side panel summarizes queue settings and enabled PCCs across Sabre GDS, Amadeus, and NDC, while priority icons now align with the task dashboard for a consistent experience.
When a queue configuration is changed, administrators are shown instructions and a warning explaining the actions that will be taken.
TMC Management: Self-serve feature configurations
TMC administrators can now self-serve select feature configurations directly within Spotnana. Previously managed internally, these settings can now be configured at the TMC level or for individual organizations, reducing the need for manual enablement by Spotnana teams.
Key capabilities include:
- Self-serve configurations: View and manage available feature configurations from Feature management within TMC Settings, with clear names and descriptions to help identify each setting.
- Tailored configurations: Create and edit variations of a configuration, each with its own settings and audience. Apply configurations broadly or define conditions such as country and currency, with drag-and-drop ordering to prioritize variations and rule evaluation.
- Hierarchical settings: Manage configurations at the TMC or organization level. Organization-level settings override TMC settings for that organization, while TMC settings override Spotnana’s global default.
Note: Access to Feature management is limited to TMC administrators.
To learn more, see the Feature management overview in Spotnana University.
Agent Experience
Agent resolution steps for queue and mid-office errors
TMC administrators can now add custom resolution instructions for specific queue and mid-office errors. These instructions appear directly on the task dashboard, helping agents quickly understand how to resolve unfamiliar issues without needing to search through external training materials.
Key capabilities include:
- Custom resolution steps: Add static instructions for GDS queues, NDC queues, OCN updates, and mid-office tasks under TMC settings > Task configuration.
- In-context guidance: Configured instructions automatically appear in the task dashboard side panel when a task is assigned to an agent.
- Flexible formatting: Administrators can use plain text or markdown to format resolution steps so they’re easy for agents to read and follow. Administrators can also add links to internal documents for agents to refer to.
Agent tools: Reliability improvements for manual forms
We updated the infrastructure powering manual forms to improve reliability when agents edit, exchange, cancel, or refund bookings. These enhancements standardize how booking data is processed and address validation errors that could occur during servicing.
Key improvements include:
- Consistent booking data: Bookings from all sources (including Sabre, NDC, and offline) are now standardized before the Manual Form processes them, helping ensure more consistent servicing behavior.
- Improved ancillary handling: Extras such as bags and seats retain their prices and remain linked to the correct itinerary components when bookings are modified or converted to a manual form. Supplier and source details are also preserved throughout the Read PNR process.
- Unified fare and tax calculations: Improved fare and refund calculations help prevent issues such as duplicated taxes, missing airline fees, and negative transaction amounts. Amounts now include detailed tax breakdowns to support country-specific tax requirements.
- Smoother payment edits: Agents can now edit bookings with an existing payment method without triggering unrelated payment validation errors.
- Correct NDC segment status: When an NDC booking is edited using a manual form, segments now correctly update the confirmed state.
Note: Changing the payment method during a manual form edit or exchange is currently not supported. Manual Form support must also be built and tested whenever new supplier sources are added.
Automated Form of ID (FOID) remarks
We have introduced mid-office automation for Sabre GDS bookings to automatically resolve ticketing failures caused by missing Form of ID (FOID) remarks. Previously, when an airline required a specific FOID, ticketing could fail and require manual agent intervention. Now, the system reads the Sabre error and automatically adds the required information to the PNR using information from the traveler’s profile. This process checks the credit card used to ticket the booking, followed by the passport number and then the national ID to obtain the necessary ID.
Note: If the required information is not available in the traveler’s profile, such as for certain offline shell PNRs, the booking will be routed to an agent for manual resolution.
