Only accept lowest rate at hotel as in-policy

You can set your hotel policy so that only the lowest rate at each hotel property will be considered in-policy. As a result, only the lowest priced room options at each hotel property will be marked as in-policy (and all others will be out-of-policy).

To enable this feature, use the procedure below.

  1. Select Policies from the Program menu.
  2. Select the desired policy (e.g., Default Policy) in the left hand menu under Policy.
  3. Expand the Hotel section.
  4. Locate the Only consider cheapest rate as in-policy setting.
  5. Enable it by setting its toggle on.
  6. Click Save
If this setting is enabled, a room rate may be marked as out-of-policy even if its price is lower than the budget you allow for a particular city simply because it is not the cheapest rate at that particular hotel property.
