March 2025 - Release Notes
Here are the most recent enhancements to Spotnana’s Travel-as-a-Service Platform. The features are grouped by functional category (Content, Self-service, etc.).
Content
Cleartrip integration: Local air contet in India
Spotnana has built a direct API integration with Cleartrip, expanding our content offerings in India. With this integration, travelers can:
Directly access content from India’s leading low-cost carriers, including IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air.
Benefit from negotiated rates and access lower prices.
Cancel bookings on their own without agent involvement.
Create a single, seamless itinerary incorporating flights from both Cleartrip and other content sources.
Purchase and reserve seats when booking.
In addition, Spotnana’s India POS is now live. As a result, travelers in India can now access locally originated fares in their own currency (Indian Rupees), book flights from low-cost carriers, and receive local invoices from airlines that comply with the local Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislation.

Traveler Experience
Expanded access to universal search
We’ve expanded universal search to all users, making it easier than ever to find trips directly from the home page of the Online Booking Tool. Previously available only to agents and TMC administrators, this feature is now accessible to travelers, arrangers, and company administrators:
Travelers can search for their own trips.
Arrangers can find trips for the travelers they manage.
Company admins can access all trips within their company.
Ticket number added to universal search
We’ve enhanced universal search by adding support for ticket number searches. Previously, users could search using email addresses, Trip ID, Booking ID, Trip Name, or PNR - but not ticket numbers. With this update, travelers can now quickly locate their trips using the ticket number, making it easier to find corresponding itineraries and invoices for expense filing. Simply enter the ticket number in the universal search bar in the top right corner to retrieve your trip details instantly.
My approval page: change to where it appears in menu navigation
The My approvals page now lives under the Trips menu (under Individual). The page previously lived within the Profile menu.
Approvers can use this page to view or act on any bookings requiring their approval. For more details, see Approval Dashboard.
Travel Management
All Trips page enhancements
We have introduced the following enhancements to the All trips page:
Advanced filtering capabilities
Start date range: Filter trips by their start date (can be used to create a timeframe).
End date range: Filter trips based on when they end (can be used to create a timeframe).
Booking type: Filter trips based on booking type (air, hotel, car, rail, limo).
Policy status: Filter trips based on whether they are in-policy or out-of-policy.
Enhanced tab-based views
Upcoming: Tab displaying confirmed trips that contain upcoming bookings.
Completed: Tab displaying trips where all bookings have concluded.
Canceled: Tab displaying trips with all bookings have been canceled.
Draft: Tab displaying newly created trips which do not yet have active bookings. This provides visibility into shell PNRs.
Search filter - updated search mechanism within the All trips page, allowing company administrators to search directly within the table by traveler name, traveler email address, trip ID, or Spotnana PNR ID.
For more details, see View trips for travelers in your company.
Downloads for Legal entities, offices, and roles.
Company administrators are now able to download a CSV file of all the legal entities, offices, or roles in their organization.
To download a list, select Company from the Program menu. Select the desired page in the left hand menu (Offices or Legal entities under Company, or Roles under Users). Then, click Download. A message will notify you that the download has started. When the download is complete, you will receive an email message that contains a link to the downloaded file.
Ability to mark specific company reports as a "favorite"
Company administrators can now bookmark key reports by adding reports to their favorites list. All reports that are “favorited” appear under a new Favorites category in the left hand menu under Company reports. For more details, see Analytic reports.
International SOS integration: European data center
International SOS is a Spotnana integration partner that provides duty of care services including medical assistance, travel risk management, and security support for organizations and individuals abroad. We have expanded our integration with International SOS, allowing us to now send travel data to their data center in France.
GST information for tax-compliant invoices in India
For the India market, we’ve enhanced our support for tax-compliant invoice generation through Sabre and Cleartrip. Our integrations with these content sources now allow us to include the GST number, entity address, and invoice email. These essential tax details are needed to ensure that travelers receive compliant invoices directly via email. Additionally, tax-compliant invoices will be generated by airlines, enabling businesses to seamlessly claim tax rebates from Indian tax authorities while accessing local content.
Integrations
Payment Gateway: Razorpay
Spotnana has integrated with Razorpay’s payment gateway. This allows us to process payments using this payment gateway in India.
TMCs use payment gateways to accept payments when they need to act as a merchant of record. For example, TMCs may rely on payment gateways when traditional payment methods (e.g., a traveler’s credit card) are not accepted by suppliers, for payments in certain countries, or when cash payments are required.
How Razorpay works with Spotnana:
Saving a card: All Indian cards are tokenized by their respective networks (e.g., Amex, Visa, Mastercard) through Razorpay. The card network provides a network token to Razorpay, which converts it into a Razorpay token and sends it to Spotnana. Spotnana stores the Razorpay token.
Charging a card: Online transactions in India require two-factor authentication. The card-issuing bank generates a one-time password (OTP), which is sent to the cardholder. The user enters the OTP in a Razorpay pop-up on Spotnana’s platform to authenticate the transaction.
TMC partners: Spotnana’s TMC partners can connect their own Razorpay accounts directly to Spotnana’s platform.
TMC Infrastructure
Service charge API
A new Service Charge API is now available to TMC channel partners. This API provides TMCs with detailed insights into their service fees. With this API, users can input a Trip ID or User ID to retrieve a comprehensive breakdown of service fees for that trip or user. Additionally, we’ve introduced a unique Charge ID, allowing TMCs to track service fee transactions seamlessly across the Spotnana travel platform and their own back-office systems. For more details, see the Spotnana Developer Portal.
TMCs can access this API using their existing credentials. For real-time data access, please contact your Partner Success Manager.
Developer Experience
Trip summary API enhancements
We have introduced the following upgrades to the Trips summary API:
Transitioned from proto to modern YAML-based API architecture.
Three distinct API endpoints tailored to different user personas.
Support for simultaneous, multi-dimensional filtering.
Enhanced flexibility for complex queries.
For updated API documentation on the Trips API, see the Spotnana Developer Portal.
Webhooks change log on the Spotnana Developer Portal
Developers can now access a Webhook change log in the Spotnana Developer Portal. All updates to Spotnana’s webhooks are automatically documented in the Webhook change log (located in the portal's Releases section).
