Restrict fares that require airport transfers

Administrators can configure the system to block any airfares that require the traveler to change airports during a layover. This setting is configured per travel policy.  

To enable this feature, use the procedure below. 

1. Select Policies from the Program menu.

2. Select the desired policy (e.g., Default Policy) in the left hand menu under Policy.

3. Expand the Flight section.

4. Scroll down to the Block fares with airport transfers field.

5. Enable the toggle.

6. Click Save changes. Any fares that require airport transfers will not be bookable for travelers associated with the policy you selected.

The system will provide messaging to the traveler when the booking of a fare is being blocked due to airport transfers.
