Modify a car rental booking

Use this procedure to editing an existing car rental booking. You can only use this procedure to edit the rental car supplier, dates, or times. The modification must be made within the time period allowed for free cancellations. 

1. Log in to the Online Booking Tool. 
2. Click Trips on the main menu. The Trips page will be displayed. 
3. Click the Upcoming tab. 
4. Locate the trip that contains the car rental booking you wish to change and select it. The trip details will be displayed showing the car rental bookings included in this trip. You may need to expand the booking details. 
5. Locate the car rental booking you wish to change and select it. 
6. Click Modify. A list of rental car alternatives for the dates you selected will be displayed (including the one already associated with the booking). Each option will display any price difference (compared to your current booking). 
7. To change your pick up or drop off location or dates or the traveler associated with the booking, click Change (next to the dates) and edit the values as needed. 
8. Click Update search. A list of rental cars that match your new criteria will be displayed (along with any price difference). 
9. Locate the desired rental car and click Select. 
10. The Checkout page will be displayed showing the pick up and drop off dates, times, and location of your new booking. The previous booking total and the new total price will be shown as well. 
11. Click Reserve. You car booking will be updated. On the Trips page, your previous car booking will be shown as cancelled and your modified car booking will be shown as upcoming. 

You will receive an email confirmation of your changed car rental booking.
