Here are the most recent enhancements to Spotnana’s Travel-as-a-Service Platform. The features are grouped by functional category (Content, Self-service, etc.):

Policy and Reporting
Updated Analytics and Reporting
Spotnana’s unique, modern data infrastructure provides real-time insights into global travel bookings and behavior. To enhance how you can use this data, we've updated our reports with powerful filters and sorting options as well as a new look and feel. These reports allow you to easily view, visualize, and download common travel and financial reports or sort and filter to just pull the metrics you want.

Available reports:
  • Overview - The overview report, your main dashboard, includes total spend, CO2 data, self-service booking percentages, and policy compliance for general financial and travel management reporting.
  • Air, Hotel, and Car Transactions - Transaction reports include trip and travel details that provide insights around spend and support easier reconciliation.
  • Air, Hotel, and Car Manifest - Manifest reports include details on traveler logistics like where employees are at a specific time, or when they are arriving. These reports also provide insights into top travel destinations and top suppliers that can help you identify preferred suppliers and negotiate rates.
For more information on these reports, see the Spotnana Analytics Report Guide.

Custom Fields
Administrators can now define Custom Fields that can be added as questions for the traveler to complete when booking a trip.

Common uses for a custom field include capturing “reason for travel” or “budget code” at time of check out to easily sort trips by reason and budget. Reporting on Custom Fields will be supported in subsequent releases.

To maximize flexibility, Custom Field questions can be optional or required when checking out and include a pre-set list of responses that are defined by an administrator in Company Settings. In addition, Custom Field questions can be one of three types:
  • Single select - travelers can choose one option
  • Multi-select - travelers can choose multiple options
  • Multi-select with percentages - travelers can choose multiple options and indicate a percent to allocate to each selected option that adds up to 100%
Traveler Location Details
We now provide details directly in the Safety map explaining why each traveler is listed there. Administrators can view this information under the title in the Safety map to learn how Spotnana determines the traveler's last known or current location.

Within the Safety section, administrators can now also download a CSV file of traveler details (name, trip name, location, contact information). This allows information to be easily shared with security teams or used for additional analysis and reporting.

Self-Service
Update Traveler Information and Contact Details
Administrators can now update traveler information (first name, last name, title) and contact details (phone and email) on a self-service basis.

Mobile Login for First Time Non-SSO Users
Building on our mobile capabilities, users activating their account for the first time can now set their password via the Spotnana mobile app. Previously, first time users had to set their password via the Spotnana Booking Tool using a browser. Single sign-on (SSO) users can also already login with SSO from both the web and the mobile app.

Search and Trips
CO2 Emission Data After Booking
Previously, CO2 emissions data (if provided by the airline) had only been displayed throughout the booking process. Now, it is also shown on the Trips page and in confirmation emails once the flight is booked.
