View history of changes to records

You can view a history of all changes made to certain records within the Spotanan platform. This can be a powerful auditing tool when trying to track down when a change was made and by whom (e.g., troubleshooting a configuration issue). A history of the last 25 changes made to a particular record is available for the following pages in the Online Booking Tool:

  • General

    • Select Company from the Program menu, then select General in the left hand menu.

  • Payment methods

    • Select Company from the Program menu, then select Payment methods from the Payment menu in the left hand menu.

  • User profiles (for a particular traveler or user)

    • Select Users from the Program menu. Then select the relevant user’s name.

  • Policy

    • Select Policies from the Program menu. Then select the relevant policy.

  • PCC Rule (only accessible to TMC Administrators)

    • Select TMC setting from the Program menu. Then select Suppliers from the menu on the left. Then click > in the row of the desired supplier (e.g., Sabre). Select the PCC configurations tab. Then click > in the row of the desired rule. Then click Edit in the panel that opens.

  • PCC configuration (only accessible to TMC Administrators)

    • Select TMC setting from the Program menu. Then select Suppliers from the menu on the left. Then click > in the row of the desired supplier (e.g., Sabre) and click > in the row of the desired PCC (from the PCC List tab). Then click Edit in the panel that opens.

  • TMC fees

    • Select TMC setting from the Program menu. Then select TMC fee from the menu on the left.

If you are a TMC Administrator and manage more than one company, you may need to select the relevant company from the menu on the top left of the Company settings page.

View recent activity

To access the change history/recent activity, navigate to that page (see navigation tips above) and then click the  icon. The most recent 25 changes will then be displayed. For example, for the Default policy you might see:

The information displayed will also indicate the user who made the change, when the change was made, and whether the user was impersonating another user when making the change. The user account used to make the change will be displayed next to the text by. If another user was impersonating that account when they made the change, (Impersonated) will be displayed and the name of the user who did the impersonating will be displayed when you hover on the info bubble. To view the specific details of the change, click Details.
